Ranking All-Time Premier League Strikers. We’ve gone through the Premier League strikers over the years and ranked them using Tier List – Greatest of all time (goat’s), greats, overrated, frauds, rated and the trash all rated through stats!

Starting off with our greatest of all list – it consists of Wayne Rooney, Alan Shearer and Thierry Henry. Wayne Rooney scored 208 goals in the Premier League for Man United. The ex England international played various roles at Old Trafford, but still managed to be second to Alan Shearer. Thierry Henry managed 20 goals & 20 assists in the 2002/03 season and managed to play a main role in the great Arsenal invincibles side a season later. Alan Shearer managed an incredible 30+ goal seasons three times – managing to win a Prem title with Blackburn and then moving to his boyhood club Newcastle United.

Moving onto our harsher part of the ranking – we’ve got the overrated, trash and frauds. It may surprise a few that we chose to have Didier Drogba, but whilst the ex Chelsea legend was consistently word class in cup competitions like the FA Cup & Uefa Champions League – the Ivorian striker did not have the record you’d think of in the League, even having some disappointing seasons the standout one being 2008/09, where Drogba only managed five goals in the league in 24 games, overrated for me. Arguably trashiest of the list has to be Jozy Altidore – the American international only managed two goals in his time at Sunderland, receiving four times the bookings than goals, has to get in the bin.

Victor Anichebe & Roberto Soldado have an unfortunate common stat – scoring just 0.13 goals per game in the epl. Anichebe averaged two goals per season in 13 premier league seasons – that’s a shocking 26 Premier League goals. Another big name at Chelsea that may shock you, Andriy Shevchenko. The Ukrainian is considered a footballing great by many, but his time at Stamford Bridge was far from that – scoring nine goals in three seasons of Premier League football, an embarrassing average of 0.19 goals per game.

Who do you think is the best striker in the English Premier League era?
